DESCRIPTION
Our world-renowned local sea urchins are hand-harvested by divers from the waters off Santa Barbara and are brought fresh from the sea to the market. The sea urchin roe, also called "uni" when used in sushi, is considered a delicacy around the world. Some call it the "foie gras of the sea." It has a thick, creamy, and buttery texture. It smells like the ocean and has a briny flavor.
