Coho salmon, also known as silver salmon, is a type of wild-caught Pacific salmon. It is less fatty and therefore has a milder taste than King (Chinook) salmon. It is lighter in color and has a softer texture than Sockeye salmon, though firm enough for grilling. For cooking stovetop, check out our tips for perfectly pan-seared salmon.
Hook-and-line caught
Skin-on; contains pinbones
Fillets are cut into 8-oz portions and are vacuum-sealed two to a bag (1 lb total)
Available fresh (never frozen), when in season; or proton frozen (sashimi-grade)
For our frozen fillets, our process of proton freezing locks in the just-caught freshness of our wild-caught salmon to sashimi standards. Perfect for enjoying in poke bowls and sushi.
Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
