Sashimi-Grade Albacore Tuna Loin, per lb

Our hook-and-line Pacific albacore is sashimi-grade and delivered fresh (never frozen). Albacore meat is less dense than bluefin tuna, with more omega-3 than the rest of the tunas. It has a mild, rich taste and a firm, steaky texture, with large, moist flakes. Albacore has the lightest-colored meat of all the tunas,  All albacore is very good in poke dishes. It is also excellent grilled, pan seared, or canned.
