How to Roast Whole Fish

Ingredients

1 whole fish, such as red snapper, cleaned
1 cup of fresh thyme, or other fresh herbs of choice
2 tablespoons of garlic powder
3 teaspoons of black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
2 tablespoons of olive oil or avocado oil
Directions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and place two pieces of parchment paper or foil on a large baking sheet.
Lay the fish on the prepared baking sheet.
Carefully cut halfway through the fish.
Stuff the fish with fresh 5-7 fresh lemon slices and half a cup of fresh thyme.
Season the inside and outside of the red snapper with garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
Then, brush the fish with olive oil.
Place the rest of the lemon slices and thyme underneath the fish.
Roast the fish for about 30 minutes, until the flesh just flakes.
Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes.
